Saturday April 18 - A Memorial Mass for longtime St. Catherine parishioner and usher, Bob Sproha, will be celebrated here on Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 am.
Altar Servers: A great way to Serve the Lord - Altar servers, spring of grade 4 and above, are needed for Mass on Saturdays at 5:30 pm and Sundays at 7:30 am, 9:00 am (children’s Mass), 10:30 am and 12 noon. If you can help, please email with your name, phone number, email address, and preferred Mass time(s), or call the parish office 973-334-7131. Training will be provided.
Quo Vadis: Where are you going? - Quo Vadis Discernment Retreat is a time of recreation, fellowship, prayer and discussion for young men ages 15 to 25 to help you explore our Lord’s call in your life. The retreat is free and will be held Wednesday to Friday, July 8-10 at the Sacred Heart Spirituality Center, 20 Old Swartswood Rd in Newton. Sunday, April 26 - Parish Family Breakfast - St. Catherine’s Parish Family Breakfast is Sunday, April 26. We, with the Knights of Columbus #3359, invite you to join us at 9:00 am Mass, followed by breakfast in the Parish Center. It will be a morning of great food and parish family togetherness. This year’s guest speaker is writer Dom Miliano. Tickets are only $7 for adults, $5 for children under 10, and under one are free. Sign-up in the vestibule. Tickets will be sold at the door.(Note: there will be NO 10:30 am Mass on April 26)
Saturday/Sunday, April 25-26 - There will be a second collection next weekend for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD).

Moms & Tots - The Moms & Tots playgroup will meet every TUESDAY from 9:30 - 11:00 in the gym. Please join us for free play, a snack and craft each week. All we ask is that you bring a small donation for the Fr. English food pantry! Please contact Kerrie Boland (973-335-5673 or ) with any questions. We look forward to seeing all of our friends!
If you or a family member cannot attend Sunday Mass due to long-term illness, disabling injury, old age, etc., please be sure to inform the Parish Office 973-334-7131 at your earliest convenience. With this information, Fr. Peter can arrange to visit those who are homebound and bring the Eucharist and celebrate the Sacrament of the Sick.
Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Paterson has a clothing donation box in our parking lot. We welcome the donation of gently used clothing and small household items such as working appliances. Call 1-877-343-3651 if you have any questions or should need a free pick-up of larger quantities of clothes or household items.
